Hi, I’m glad you’re here! It takes strength to pursue avenues of personal exploration. I see therapy as an opportunity for people to untangle their thoughts, to be seen and held in their experience, and to explore what’s beneath our behavior. I’m here to sit with you in the uncertainty and the discomfort. There is nothing to fix. What is this here to teach you? My counseling approach is holistic, person-centered, compassionate and trauma-informed. I strive to empower people and guide them on their path. I believe everyone has the innate ability to heal themselves, but we may need support along the way. I’m here to help you feel seen and heard, and to reconnect you with your inner wisdom. I strive to meet you where you are at, and collaborate to utilize modalities that work for you. Others often comment on my strengths in the therapy room as being down to earth and allowing people to feel unconditionally accepted and safe to be vulnerable. I especially enjoy working with highly sensitive people, those who feel misunderstood, grief and loss, self esteem, vulnerability, creativity, intuition, and spiritual awakening.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas. I moved to San Marcos for undergrad and then to Austin afterwards. I received my Bachelors in Photography and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University. In my graduate counseling experience, I worked with teens and adults with presenting concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, sexual offenses, relationship challenges, trauma, self-esteem, life and career transitions, addiction, existential crises, identity crises and more. I also have several years of experience working with children of all ages as a dance and tumbling assistant and as a nanny. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time in nature, film photography, exercise and connecting with loved ones. I look forward to connecting with you!
