Dani Angerman

Client Care Manager

Dani Angerman (she/her) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in March of 2020. As the Client Care Manager, she works to create a warm and welcoming first step into the counseling process for AFC clients. Dani helps new clients find the best counselor to meet their needs and schedules initial appointments. She graduated from Concordia University Texas in 2019 with degrees in Psychology and Religious Education. Dani currently attends Texas State University where she is pursuing her masters degree in professional counseling. Outside of work, you’ll find her reading, rock climbing, visiting national parks, camping, spending time with her husband and friends, and daydreaming about owning 10 golden retrievers.

Lea Comte

Client Care Assistant

Lea Comte, MS, R-DMT (she/they) joined Austin Family Counseling in September of 2023. They  are a  valued member of the Client Care Team and one of our amazing clinicians. She helps assist Danielle in caring for our clientele through conducting intake calls and administrative tasks on the backend. With her undergraduate degree in Human Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s of Science in Creative Arts Therapies, they bring their love of supporting and caring for others to the AFC Team. Outside of work, Lea enjoys dancing, going on adventures, and upcycling costumes from the thrift store. You can read more about her clinical work here.

Caitlin O’Keefe

Operations Manager

Caitlin O’Keefe (she/they) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in November 2021. As the Operations Manager, she is responsible for creating warm and efficient working spaces for contractors, employees and subtenants and a welcoming space for clients and guests. She graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2010 with a degree in Deaf Studies, and she is pursuing her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University. In her time away from work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family, watching historical dramas, and going for walks.

Courtney Powers

Operations Assistant

Courtney Powers (she/her) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in May of 2023. As the Operations Assistant, she works to ensure the work space that is shared by employees, contractors, and subtenants remains functional and efficient while also creating a welcoming environment for our clients. She graduated from Texas State University in 2023 with her degree in Psychology and is pursuing her masters degree in Professional Counseling. Outside of work, you may find her outdoors enjoying nature, cooking up something new with her fiancé, traveling to the other side of the world, or carefully planning for her dream homestead cottage.
