Austin Family Counseling has a team of dedicated administrative staff who manage operations of the practice, serve as the first point of contact for those inquiring about services, assist current clients, and support our exceptional team of highly qualified clinicians.

Danielle Peartree
Client Care Coordinator

Danielle Peartree (she/her/hers) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in March of 2020. As the Client Care Coordinator, she works to create a warm and welcoming first step into the counseling process for AFC clients. Danielle helps new clients find the best counselor to meet theirs needs and schedules initial appointments. She graduated from Concordia University Texas in 2019 with degrees in Psychology and Religious Education. Danielle hopes to attend graduate school in the future and join the therapy world as a counselor herself. Outside of work, you’ll find her reading, rock climbing, visiting national parks, camping, spending time with her fiance and friends, and daydreaming about owning 10 golden retrievers.

Matt Trietsch
Administrative Assistant

Matt Trietsch (he/him/his) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in 2021. As an administrative assistant at AFC, Matt supports AFC leadership from the back office perspective and fills in wherever else as needed. In addition to working at AFC, Matt is senior graduate student at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and will graduate in May 2022.   Matt is a counselor in practicum at The Austin Center for Grief and Loss and also works in the enrollment and admissions office at the seminary. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech (Interpersonal) Communication from Texas State University and retired a successful 20-year career in Human Resources in 2019. Most recently Matt was the Director of Human Resources for a non-profit law firm advocating for people with disabilities. Outside of the counseling space, Matt enjoys travel, nature, camping, photography, mindfulness, working with rescue animals, and binge-watching movies and TV series.
