Welcome! And thank you for coming to this page. I know the mental health journey can often be difficult to navigate, so I am glad to have you here. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone else knows you, and that you are the expert of your own life’s story. I would be honored to learn about that story and help you navigate whatever brings you to therapy. When working with you, I will collaborate with you to set your own goals, establish an agreeable therapeutic relationship, and conduct therapy in a way that feels comfortable and productive to you. I hope that in working with me, you will become closer to your goals and excited for whatever your next steps may be!

A Little About Me

I first discovered that I wanted to become a therapist when I was in high school and I have taken every measure to ensure that path for myself since. I am a born and raised Austinite and attended the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) where I received my B.A. in Psychology and minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. Afterward, I received an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, with a concentration on Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. During my time in graduate school, I worked at the Texas State Assessment and Counseling Clinic, the San Marcos Treatment Center, and Vida Clinic. Through my graduate internships, I discovered a particular interest in working with families, teens, couples, and adults to help you work toward your therapeutic endeavors. Since I started with Austin Family Counseling, I have also become a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Certified Positive Discipline: Keeping the Joy in Relationships Facilitator.

Outside of session, I enjoy streaming shows and podcasts, playing video games with my husband, listening to music and attending concerts, and going on nature walks.

I look forward to getting to know you!
