Focus
Teens, Young Adults (18-30), Adults, Elders (65+)
You already have the tools you need to lead the life you want. I’m here to provide you with a safe and comfortable space to feel your emotions without fear of judgement, so that you can freely use those tools. I will sit with you, support you, and, if needed, guide you, but you are in the driver’s seat of your life and in our sessions. A combination of compassion, curiosity, creativity and humor guides my work with my clients. Therapy is a collaborative process, which means we will work together to decide what would be the most effective way to achieve your goals for therapy.
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups who have come to therapy with issues ranging from anxiety, trauma, depression and addiction, to anger, sexual offenses, grief, and family conflict.
We may be an especially good fit if you have experienced difficulties with your religion or spirituality, especially if you were raised within a rigid belief system.

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and I went to the University of Arizona and received a Bachelors of Arts in Middle East and North African Studies. I’ve been in Austin ever since (and love it here). I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas State University. I am fiercely committed to advocating for and working with individuals with marginalized identities within and outside of the therapy room.
When I’m not working, I enjoy making music (I play several instruments), reading (mostly fantasy), socializing (I love a good coffee/tea hang), walking (especially when it’s not summer), and listening to podcasts.
