“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” -J.R.R. Tolkien
Life is hard and needing help while on that journey is not only normal, but very much expected. Most of the time, we are able to get that help through social support like family, friends, or pets. However, sometimes we find that aid is not enough, and outside help is needed. I believe it is my role as a therapist to sit in those gaps and provide the necessary assistance. My philosophy on counseling is that I am here as a floaty on the river of life where your autonomy is always king. Goals will be created collaboratively and accomplished through your inherent capacity to grow and change. My role is to provide you with needed practical tools to enhance your ability to understand and process your emotions. I will also work to assist you in finding the areas of your life that you can control and encourage you as you make those hard decisions to create the life you would like to be living. For, indeed, while life is hard, we can work within those constraints to develop the best lives for ourselves with support and guidance from those around us.

A little about me
I grew up in Dripping Springs, a small town just outside of Austin. I’m the youngest of three girls and spent most of my time helping my parents raise a multitude of animals, including pygmy goats, a miniature horse, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and more.
I moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University directly after high school to gain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While at TAMU, I spent 10 weeks in Japan to complete a Japanese minor, gaining a basic knowledge of Japanese culture and language. After graduating, I moved to San Marcos to get my Masters in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. While in school, I worked part-time at my hometown church, Dripping Springs United Methodist Church, at their nursery and preschool. I graduated from Texas State in December 2021, completing my master’s.
I work with folks from all walks of life, though I am particularly interested in working with teen girls as they experience the difficulties of teenage life. I like to mix the practicality of DBT skills with the abstraction of expressive art techniques to help anxiety, depression, unhealthy relationship patterns, and processing difficult emotions. If you are looking for someone informal and willing to meet you in the awkward and uncomfortable, then I’m the therapist for you.
I currently enjoy playing a variety of Nintendo Switch games, including Cozy Grove and Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well as spending time with my toy poodle, Isabeau, and bearded dragon, Ezra.
