Focus
Young Adults (18-30), Adults
At the heart of my work with any client is a collaborative and relational conversation. I believe that growth and healing can come from feeling seen and understood, so my goal with each client is to give them the space to share their most authentic selves.
Through active listening and curious reflection, I can get an understanding of what your world looks like and help you navigate it. My hope is always to build on what you already know about yourself; and with empathy, insight, and encouragement, help you to reach the best version of yourself and your life. Most of my clients tend to stick with me for years, knowing they have someone in their corner who understands them and their world – someone to walk beside them as they navigate life’s next transition or challenge.
Although you already have many of the tools you need for change, what I bring to our collaboration is training, experience, and support. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Furman University and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Since starting in private practice in 2013, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients from children to teens to young adults, parents, and couples. The current focus of my practice is supporting parents from a Positive Discipline perspective and working with adults of all ages.
I love the work that I do. I can’t imagine doing anything else. And I am so grateful to each and every client I’ve met along the way for trusting me, trusting the process, and trusting themselves to do their own work. If any of this resonates with you and you’re needing some extra support, I’d love to hear from you. And I will look forward to connecting and starting our conversation together.

A Little About Me
When not in session, I stay (very) busy keeping up with my toddler and two dogs (and watching my two cats laze about). And in my “off” time from that job, you can often find me either reading a book or taking a walk on the trails in our neighborhood, usually with a cup of coffee in hand.
