Focus

Infants, Toddlers, Children (6-10), Young Adults (18-30)

As a dance & movement therapist I guide children with a body-centered approach that prioritizes their mental health and social-emotional learning through the following techniques; mindfulness and relaxation, creative and structured movement, locomotor skills, play, dance, games, and more to provide assessment, intervention, and education support.

I work closely with parents, co-parents, bonus parents, caregivers, educators, families of origin, chosen families, polyamorous families and children in individual and group therapy, professional development workshops, on-site observations, and creative movement groups.

My specialties include working with neurodivergent children, concerning behaviors, guiding embodied co-regulation, educating adults on Positive Discipline, collaborating in schools to support students/ educators/ administration and providing a jugdment free environment for all folks to learn and grow in.

You can get a glimpse into my work by viewing my TEDx highlighting the use of dance & movement therapy and co-regulation in early childhood.

**Disclosure: I practices under my registration through the American Dance Therapy Association.**

A Little About Me

I have been doing this work for more than 15 years and adore every minute I get to support my clients and their loved ones.

I received my bachelors in Human Development from University of Texas at Dallas and hold a Master of Science from Pratt Institute in Dance and Movement in Creative Arts Therapy. My Post-Graduate Certificate in Infant Mental Health Support comes from the work of dance & movement psychotherapist Dr. Suzi Tortora in her Ways of Seeing Program.

Outside of my dance & movement therapy sessions you can catch me recharging my batteries in the sun with a taco and a coffee, thrifting for my next costume inspiration, or escaping on my next adventure! I am queer, neuro-spicy, highly sensitive and empathic.
