Hello and welcome!

I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you. I specialize in supporting individuals, parents, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationship issues. My primary focus is to create a non-judgmental, compassionate, safe, and inclusive space for all my clients, and I am deeply committed to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly attuned to the impact of culture and trauma on one’s experiences.

My therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration and empowerment. I firmly believe in working hand-in-hand with my clients as we navigate their unique journeys of healing and growth. To best serve the distinct needs of each individual, I draw from a diverse set of therapeutic methods, including Compassionate Inquiry, Imago Relationship Therapy, Positive Discipline, Attachment Theory, Family Systems, Strength-based Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Somatic Work, and Mindfulness Practices.

In our work together, I will meet you with empathy, understanding, and an open heart. Every individual is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to best fit your needs and preferences. You can trust that our work together will be respectful, confidential, and non-judgmental.

Remember, you don’t have to face your struggles alone—I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support every step of the way. As your therapist, my role is to serve as a supportive guide on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

A Little About Me

I am a bilingual therapist, fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I earned a B.A. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, a M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a M.A. in Social Work from Fordham University. Through my multicultural background and fluency in multiple languages, I am well equipped to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and offer culturally sensitive support.

In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, hiking, and traveling. Yoga provides a sacred space for centering and mindfulness. Hiking connects me with nature’s beauty, offering solace and reflection. Traveling embraces diverse cultures and fuels my passion for learning. Most cherished is spending quality time with my family, and nurturing meaningful connections.

I am grateful for the opportunity to support my clients as they work through challenges, gain insights, and create meaningful changes in their lives. I firmly believe in the transformative power of counseling, and I see myself as a compassionate and supportive guide throughout this journey.
