Life’s challenges can sometimes leave us feeling lost or stuck, despite our best efforts. In these difficult moments, therapy can provide the support and clarity needed to move forward. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and calming, and I’m committed to creating a safe space where your story is heard and your experiences are validated.
I earned my M.A. in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, following a career in IT that helped me recognize my true passion for helping others. My approach is primarily person-centered: I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to guide and support your growth. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with specialization in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addictions, and life transitions. I am also conversant in American Sign Language, providing culturally sensitive therapy to the Deaf community.
Engaging in therapy is a courageous step, and you don’t have to face challenges alone. Together, we can navigate your path toward healing, resilience and growth.
You cannot go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

Outside of my professional life, I love outdoor activities, be it hiking, camping, bike riding, or indulging in a game of pickleball. I also enjoy drawing, traveling, yoga and spending time with my wife and two australian shepherds, Haku and Shasta.
