Here’s how well virtual therapy might work for you
60 points: You are a perfect fit for virtual therapy! You love staying/being at home, love your pets (so why wouldn’t you want them to join in on your therapy session?!), never leave your bed (if you can help it XD), and don’t have a lot of time on your hands (not having to drive to a therapy session would def save some of that non-existent time!). That adds up to the perfect virtual client! While online may not be preferred for you, the benefits of getting to go home right after school, do therapy on your bed (as long as that is okay with your virtual therapist!), and petting your dog (or cat!) during the session may be more than worth it. If you’ve never considered virtual therapy, I’d start making some pro/cons lists if I were you ;).
32-59 points: You are an almost perfect candidate for virtual therapy! Maybe you don’t have a lot of time on your hands so it would be super helpful for you to not have to drive to therapy in-person. Maybe you love being at home or going home straight after work/school, so it would fit your style to go home instead of going to an office. If you love your pets, having them in session can make therapy that much better as well! While not everything perfectly lines up, there are enough ways that you may really benefit from therapy that it is definitely worth looking into!
3-32 points: You could benefit from virtual therapy. Some of the possible benefits, such as getting to do therapy from bed or having pets with you during therapy, are true for you. While there are less ways (out of the ones listed) that virtual therapy may interest/benefit you, it is still worth giving it the ol’ college try!
0-2 points: You do not fit well with virtual therapy (according to these few possible benefits). While virtual therapy may still be your preference, most of these benefits are not your thing. You enjoy going out, you have plenty of time to drive to a therapy office, and generally having pets allowed in your session isn’t exciting for you. At the end of the day, you are probably more of an in-person-therapy-person; however, there are still many more benefits of virtual therapy that may make it a good option for you.
