Focus
Teens, Young Adults (18-30), Adults, Elders (65+)
I approach counseling by meeting people where they are, with curiosity, warmth, and respect for their lived experience. My style is both person-centered and CBT-informed. I am supportive and reflective, while also direct and focused on real-life change. I specialize in working with teens, parents, including those raising children with special needs. As a parent of an autistic child, I have a strong commitment to neurodiverse-affirming care. I believe people are doing the best they can with the tools they have, and therapy can help build new insight, skills, and self-awareness—even when that process feels uncomfortable. I bring lived experience, humor, and honesty into the room to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward.

A Little About Me
I’m a wife, mother, and lifelong learner who values connection, growth, and time spent with the people who matter most. I enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and maintaining close relationships with family and friends. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 25 years in education and continue to work as a special education advocate, which deeply shapes my understanding of challenges people navigate every day. I’m known for being warm, grounded, and realistic in my approach—I care deeply, I listen closely, and I strive to create a space where others feel safe and heard.
