Catherine Mok, M.A., LCSW

“Always remember, you are BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem, SMARTER than you think, and LOVED more than you know.” — A.A. Milne

I am a trauma and culturally-informed bilingual therapist (fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin). I work collaboratively with my clients using a relational, humanistic and client-centered therapeutic approach. In my practice, I see children, adolescents, parents, couples, and families using a variety of therapeutic methods including Compassionate Inquiry, Attachment Theory, Family Systems, Strength-based Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Somatic and Mindfulness to fit the needs of each individual client. I strive to provide a compassionate, safe and warm environment to allow my clients to learn, grow, and heal at their own pace. Whether you are working with me individually, as a couple or family, we will build on your own inner strengths to attain your goals and overcome your challenges.

I believe we all have the inner strengths within to deal with life challenges. We all have the capacity to learn and grow, and to enhance our personal well-being.

You are the reason why I am here. Your story matters, and I am here to listen to your story.  Whether you are challenged with past trauma, addiction, emotional difficulties, relationship issues, or mental health concerns for yourself or your loved ones, you are at the right place. My role is to guide you to discover the inner strengths within yourself, and to empower you to tackle the challenges you face, and experience deep healing and transformation. I will work with you to build a resilient mindset so that you can better cope with whatever challenges that may arise in the future.  My goal is to help you improve your overall well-being so that you can live a happier, healthier and a more fulfilling life.

This will be a journey of personal growth and changes that we will go through together.  My life experiences and genuine interest in humanity have inspired me to help make a difference in people’s lives. I truly hope that I can have the opportunity to work with you to make a difference in your life. The only person who is in control of your future and where you go from here is you. If you feel that you are ready to take on a healthy healing process, please reach out to me. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
