Client Care Team
Dani Angerman
Director of Client Care
Dani Angerman (she/her) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in March 2020 and serves as the Director of Client Care. In this role, she collaborates closely with the Client Care Team to ensure every client’s experience with AFC is welcoming, supportive, and seamless. Dani earned dual degrees in Psychology and Religious Education from Concordia University Texas in 2019. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Texas State University.
Outside of the office, Dani enjoys a variety of hobbies including reading, rock climbing, embroidery, and camping. She also loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their three Golden Retrievers—Merry, Pippin, and Sam.
Lea Comte
Client Care Assistant
Lea Comte, MS, R-DMT (she/they) joined Austin Family Counseling in September of 2023. They are a valued member of the Client Care Team and one of our amazing clinicians. She helps assist Danielle in caring for our clientele through conducting intake calls and administrative tasks on the backend. With her undergraduate degree in Human Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s of Science in Creative Arts Therapies, they bring their love of supporting and caring for others to the AFC Team. Outside of work, Lea enjoys dancing, going on adventures, and upcycling costumes from the thrift store. You can read more about her clinical work here.
Chase Gall
Client Care Assistant
Chase Gall (he/him) joined Austin Family Counseling in March of 2025. He is the newest member of our Client Care team and is also one of our wonderful clinicians. He assists Dani and Lea to make sure the intake process is as easy as possible for our clients, including conducting consultation calls. Chase graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in history and later completed St. Edwards University’s Master’s in Counseling program. In his spare time, Chase enjoys cooking, playing croquet, and hanging with his girlfriend and golden retriever.
Operations Team
Caitlin O’Keefe
Director of Operations
Caitlin O’Keefe (fae/faer) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in November 2021. As the Director of Operations, fae helps make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so our clinicians can focus on what they do best—supporting their clients. Fae oversees our day-to-day operations, manages systems and processes, supports our amazing operations team, and helps ensure our space and technology meet the needs of our community.
Fae graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2010 with a degree in Deaf Studies, and fae is pursuing a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University. In faer time away from work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with faer family, watching historical dramas, and going for walks.
Courtney Powers
Operations Assistant
Courtney Powers (she/her) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in May of 2023. As the Operations Assistant, she works to ensure the work space that is shared by employees, contractors, and subtenants remains functional and efficient while also creating a welcoming environment for our clients. She graduated from Texas State University in 2023 with her degree in Psychology and is pursuing her masters degree in Professional Counseling. Outside of work, you may find her outdoors enjoying nature, cooking up something new with her fiancé, traveling to the other side of the world, or carefully planning for her dream homestead cottage.
