Client Care Team

Dani Peartree-Angerman

Director of Client Care

Dani Peartree-Angerman (she/her) joined the Austin Family Counseling team in March 2020 and serves as the Director of Client Care. In this role, she works closely with the Client Care Team to ensure that every client’s experience with AFC is welcoming, supportive, and seamless from the very first point of contact.

Dani earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Religious Education from Concordia University Texas and later completed her master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. 

Outside of the office, Dani enjoys reading, rock climbing, embroidery, and camping. She loves spending time in the sun with her husband and their three Golden Retrievers, two of whom partner with her to provide Animal-Assisted Counseling. You can learn more about Dani’s clinical work here.

Lea Comte

Client Care Assistant

Lea Comte, MS, R-DMT (she/they) joined Austin Family Counseling in September of 2023. They  are a  valued member of the Client Care Team and one of our amazing clinicians. She helps assist Danielle in caring for our clientele through conducting intake calls and administrative tasks on the backend. With her undergraduate degree in Human Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s of Science in Creative Arts Therapies, they bring their love of supporting and caring for others to the AFC Team. Outside of work, Lea enjoys dancing, going on adventures, and upcycling costumes from the thrift store. You can read more about her clinical work here.

Operations 

Patricia Bennett-Coutee

Director of Business Operations

Patricia Bennett-Coutee joined the Austin Family Counseling team as the Director of Business Operations in February 2026. With a strategic mindset and a talent for problem-solving, she plays a key role in guiding the Operations team toward the organization’s overarching goals.

Patricia is dedicated to streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency, ensuring that both clinicians and operational staff receive the support they need to focus on client care.

Holding an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, Patricia brings both academic grounding and hands-on experience to cultivate a productive, collaborative work environment. When she’s not at work, Patricia enjoys exploring anything new Austin has to offer and navigating her 5-year-old’s busy social calendar with her husband!
