You deserve a therapist who truly gets it.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent children, teens, and families of color who may feel misunderstood or marginalized in traditional therapy spaces. If you’ve ever walked into a therapist’s office and felt like you had to explain your culture, the way your brain works, or your parenting choices just to get started, you’re not alone. I strive to create a space where your family’s experiences are not only understood but valued.
My work focuses on helping families navigate the complexities of identity, culture, and neurodiversity, especially during big life transitions or challenging developmental stages like adolescence. Whether your child is struggling at school, navigating big emotions, or figuring out where they belong, I help families move from confusion to clarity with a compassionate, strengths-based approach. I especially enjoy working with adolescents as they explore who they are and how they relate to the world around them.
Using a foundation in structural family therapy, I look at each client within the context of their whole environment, including home, school, culture, and community. I integrate somatic therapy, child-centered play therapy, and experiential techniques to meet families in ways that feel accessible and affirming. At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is not about fixing people, but about witnessing and supporting their growth. I see it as an honor to walk alongside families during some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments.
You won’t get one-size-fits-all advice here. I’m here to join on your journey and help create lasting, meaningful change. Let’s dig into the challenges and create more of what works for you.
I am a born and bred Texas girl hailing from Houston, but I received my B.A. in Neuroscience & Behavior at Columbia University in 2018 before settling down in Austin. While in Austin, I attended St. Edward’s University for my Master’s in Counseling with a focus on marriage and family therapy. I worked as a nanny and tutor throughout my master’s program, which I like to think has well equipped me for helping children and their families learn and grow together.
Outside of session, you can usually find me in the kitchen slaving over an elaborate dessert, crocheting something that will never see the light of day, or forcing my partner to watch trashy reality television with me. If I sound like a good fit for you and your family please reach out, I look forward to working with you!
