Hello! My name is Lora Ferguson. I am the Founder at Austin Family Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been a therapist for 17 years, and I am so grateful to each client that I have had the privilege to work with for the opportunity to walk alongside them. Over the years, I have counseled teens, parents, couples, young adults, and families, and it has been a true honor and joy. I love counseling because at my core, I’m a people person, and if you know me, you know that I care deeply about encouraging others. My clients may be going through a dark or difficult season in their life, but if you are walking with me, you will know you are not alone. You will know I believe in you, I see you, I truly care about you and your life. My goal is always to make sure you know that you matter in this world, and that you belong here in the space we create together. I look forward to supporting you and your family!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
When I am not supporting families or the amazing AFC team, you can find me spending time with my husband, two kids, and our big yellow dog. We love to travel and have a goal of visiting all 50 states together. I also love attending Broadway musicals, dining out at new restaurants with my friends, watching (and quoting) movies, and reading. Fun fact: I have been in the same book club for over 20 years!
