Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, I am honored to be entrusted with your story. I believe that the basis of any good therapeutic work is a safe relationship, and I will put in the time to create that foundation with you.

I specialize in working with adolescents, families, couples navigating new or challenging phases of their relationships, adults seeking individual support, and folks who may be feeling frustrated in their romantic pursuits. I have a background in supporting LGBTQIA+ folks, including those just beginning to explore their identities more deeply. Challenging systems of oppression is important to me, and I strive to be a practice where discrimination of any kind has no place. If you are a man struggling to understand your emotional landscape, we may also be a good fit.

Additionally, I enjoy supporting folks navigating all kinds of grief and existential anxiety, whether that be the death of a loved one, the end of a phase of life, or simply the passing of time.

My therapeutic approach is guided by a blend of frameworks (ranging from psychodynamics and attachment theory to the neurobiology of the autonomic nervous system), curiosity, compassion, and humor. Despair and laughter can both feel at home in therapy with me.

A Little About Me

I have always been curious about life’s bigger questions, which is what led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colorado College in 2014. From 2016 to 2024, I worked as a wilderness instructor and course director with the Voyageur Outward Bound School, where I became very comfortable sitting with people in challenging moments. It was through this work that I discovered my love of journeying alongside others as they navigate life’s hurdles. In May 2023, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my Masters of Science in Social Work.

When I’m not sitting with folks in the therapy room, I enjoy making ceramics, reading a good book over a cup of coffee, spending quiet time outdoors, investing in my community, taking on another craft project, and saying hi to every animal I see.
